Safeguarding

At Junior Design Club, we place the safety and wellbeing of every child at the centre of everything we do.

We aim to provide a welcoming and secure environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and free to explore their creativity with confidence.

Our organisation follows current UK safeguarding laws and guidance. A designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is appointed within Junior Design Club to take responsibility for safeguarding matters and ensure procedures are properly followed.

Our safeguarding practices include:

  • Carrying out enhanced DBS checks for all team members
  • Providing safeguarding training for staff

  • Maintaining clear procedures for reporting and managing concerns

  • Upholding high standards of professional behaviour

  • Ensuring personal information is handled safely and appropriately

We work closely with parents and, where appropriate, with schools and local authorities to support and protect the children in our care.

If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please contact Junior Design Club directly or reach out via email (emily.thejuniordesignclub@outlook.com)
